If you get infected more than once, I'd add Malwarebytes inexpensive Real Time protection in addition to Defender since they check for slightly different variations of infections. These two are the most powerful on-demand scanners out there. Yes, but I'd only use it for it's on-demand scanner to occasionally check up on Defender.
